It was a good year for the JMF in 2023.  We had two events that raised $19,300 in total.  We had our third JMF Golf Outing in June and our first JMF Gala dinner/dance event in December.  Both were enjoyed by all.  We are working on the events for 2024 and are looking to continue the Golf Outing and the Gala and bring back the popular BBQ.

 

How we fulfill our mission: 

1.      Donations will continue to be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering to be used in the research of new treatments for Osteosarcoma - a rare disease where the standard of care is decades old.  MSK is a leader in pediatric Sarcoma research.

2.      We continue to make a difference to cancer patients and their families by providing financial support to cover Essential expenses so they can focus more on caring for their patient and End-of-Life costs to ease the burden of losing a loved one.

3.      We continue to seek opportunities to support anti-bullying programs in schools for programs and initiatives that are conducive to having a school culture noted for being respectful, mindful, and kind.  We again provided two seniors at Glen Rock High School with the JMF Humble & Kind Award at the school's Senior Awards/Scholarship  ceremony in 2023.
